It is no accident that most ’shelter’ (interior, decorating, home) magazines appeal to women. I am pretty sure it has something to do with a biological imperative to decorate the cave, feather the nest and do our best to create a comfortable and beautiful home or room for our family to retreat from the world.

L’Affiche Moderne is a French fine art website that sells prints and posters from photographers, graphic designers and children’s illustrators. One of the hottest Children’s illustrators around would have to be Marion Billet - at a mere 27 years old, she has already illustrated a tonne of books, designed stationery, kids clothing, melamine dinner sets and even furniture!
