L’Affiche Moderne is a french fine art print e-shop presenting the works of young photographers, graphic designers and children’s illustrators. Our posters are high quality digital prints and are strictly limited to 300 editions.
The concept
It all started with a simple observation:
In the past, filling your empty walls posed somewhat of a conundrum. Either you ended up with something that resembled your dentist’s waiting room or something more fitting for a teenager. The bolder ones amongst us tried their hand at stenciling or creating their own masterpieces, more often than not with limited success. In a desperate bid to be original, we hung up ultra-trendy and matchless prints of obscure festivals nobody else went to, or festooned the walls with holiday trinkets or rare record sleeves. You could always go to town by splashing out on THE photo print you had always dreamed of while browsing online art galleries. But for the not such gifted artists amongst us, or those who found the astronomical price of swanky photo prints out of their league, there was a void that desperately needed filling.
L’Affiche Moderne is not only targeting this public but more broadly anyone out there who appreciates photography, graphic design or illustration. We’re here for all those who despite a shoe-string budget, would like to get their hands on an original and high quality work.

L’Afiche Moderne’s catalogue is constantly being updated with new works.
Our selection criteria are quite simple: if it’s original, of good quality and we like it then we’ll select it. We’re always on the look out for new talent so all artists are welcome and can submit their work if they think they are coherent with our overall aesthetic policy. L’Affiche Moderne is not only a poster shop, it is also a fantastic stepping stone for breaking talent and emerging artists.
Our posters’ quality
L’Affiche Moderne’s posters are digitally printed on a high quality semi-gloss 200g/m2 paper.
Numbered limited edition
Our posters are strictly limited to 300 editions. All prints come complete with a sticker detailing the print number.
Shipping
Once ordered, your poster will be shipped in a triple protection tube. Posters are sent via colissimo service, the shipping cost being added to the cost of the print order. Posters are sent within 1-8 days, except during holiday times mentioned on the L’Affiche Moderne website.
Order and shipment confirmation
Once you submit your order and the payment is approved, L’Affiche Moderne will send you an email confirming all the elements of the order. A few days later, when your order ships, we will e-mail you a shipping confirmation and tracking number.
